“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” – Mark Twain

about Jay
Everywhere is on my List!

Welcome to “Jay Travels” – my personal travel blog devoted to my travel experiences both in the United States and across the globe. While I’m passionate about riding motorcycles, anything technology, boating, cooking, eating and making love to life – this site is primarily devoted to travel. Hopefully, by sharing my experiences – others can learn and experience more of our small planet and teach me a few things in the process.

I decided to create this blog for a few reasons – the most obvious was to provide friends and family with a way to view pictures and video from my vacations. As I began to put together some of the footage, I realized there was an opportunity to help others break out of their own shells. “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” has become my new motto.

So What is this Site About???

Simply put – the purpose of this blog is to share my experiences in an effort to help others avoid the mistakes I’ve made thereby increasing your likelihood of an enjoyable trip. If I can also encourage others to expand their horizons and remove the fear many have with traveling – then all the better. Here’s a little taste of the information available in this blog…
