I dont get it. Should I, assuming I travel illegally, write that I’ve been to Cuba on the blue slip or not. If I do, what is the point of keeping my mouth shut, I mean, by then they know, right?

I definitely prefer to stay in casas (the food is better and it is less expensive) but I don’t understand your comment that it is difficult to make a hotel reservation. Being from the land of the blockade, I understand that makes it one step tougher, but that is the same in buying a flight. All you have to do is go through a Canadian company like Nash Travel and you can use your credit card – there are other third parties as well.
